Yea, they did that with my stock vanes, and then they started to tear. And then it just ripped the quickspins off when i switched. So i went to drop away

yep, but they havent started to rip at all, and the rest has had well over 700 shots through it. hasnt affected my groups either.

If you shoot4" stock vanes they are usually made of softer mateial and the edges will definatly ripple or vane will tear off.If your shooting blazers they are made of more rigid material.You dont get the rippling but you will get friction marks on the sides of vane.

I think they suck. Therefore I select AGAINST.

I like mine. I don't think it's the best rest out there, but for the money it's great. I don't have very expensive equipment. I think if you can put 'em in a pie plate you can kill deer. Guys blame equipment for misses, but it's usually them. It's all about how you react in those crucial moments leading up to the shot. The wb gives you one less thing to worry about.

I think alot of archery is confidence. If you dont feel confident with your rig...you wont shoot good. If someone believes that the WB will shoot bad, I think it makes them shoot bad.

Idk maybe I'm crazy, but I HAVE to have a stabilizer. 2 years ago I was shooting amazing groups at 30 yards, for my abilities anyway. Then tragedy struck, i stepped on and broke my stabilizer. I still continued trying to shoot, but missed the bag more often than hitting it. I lost 7 arrowsthat day alone. I finally hung up the bow until my new stabilizer came in....screwed it in and shot immediately after it came in, WALA...bullseyes once again. Trust me, I was trying my hardest to hit the bullseye while there was no stabilizer, but I guess I had some mental block thing preventing me from concentrating on the shot and follow through.

I vote for the WB, unless you arent confident in it's abilities. Even though it's abilities have been proven time and time again to equal that of different style rests.Some people are just hard headed.

I love 'em. I have been using them for probly 5 years. There has always been someone trying to tell me that they dont work and I should try a drop away,etc.

Recently, I tried 2 drop aways. They were nice but other than being a little quieter on the draw I really cant see any advantage.

Last year I was shooting accurately out to 65 or 70 yds. I had never even tried that before and I was very impressed. I shoot fixed blades out to 50 yds. and they fly great.

It goes back to the old saying.KISS. Keep it simple stupid. If it ain't broken then why fix it?

I would suggest using blazer vanes with a bisquit though. They work great and the bristles dont bother them at all. I dont think I would use one of the old style bisquits with all black bristles but that is just me. They brown bristles are supposed to be softer.
