Eitherway, I love them both and don't plan to get rid of either anytime soon.

I'm still curious on the earlier comment made talking about 'the piece of mind to not have to look down atyour rest when a deer comes along.' I don't get this. If anything, you DON'T have to look down to see that the arrow is still on the rest. You just draw, shoot and score. Er, wait, sorry, too long of a hockey game last night, but you get the idea.

As for the sound, I've shot Easton Axis, Goldtip and a third and have never had the noise others are talking about.

Hmm, pushing arrows through the air - or through a modified brush??? I think I'll take air!

The old argument about the WB being the best hunting rest, yada-yada-yada. Most of the drop aways have full arrow contact now - so it really is not an argument.

Why are so many WB's out there? That's easy, they're cheap and easy to set-up. An archery shops dream for 80% of their clientel. I would be the same way if I made money getting people in and out!

i always say go with a drop away...the advantages far out weigh the draw backs...a whisker biskit slows your arrow down...ALOT...both are accurate but its the speed that makes it an easy choice for me!!!

I am for them but do not use them anymore, i use a drop away and like it alot more but i could see why someone would want to use one. Only problem i ever had with them is the veins got a little lose.

First off anybody that says I like to keep it simple least amount of moving parts. Should check that statement becuase if you have a compound bow Its loaded with moving parts.
Now for a WB is a great rest it has its flaws but yet is I would say one of the best, most used rest on the market.
I will agree that they are just as accurate as any other rest until you add in the human factor of bad form. That is where a dropawaycomes into play.Neither is mor accurate than the other just we are I would say more accurate when are form has less to do with our shooting. That is why I believe alot of people think a WB is less accurate. Its not Our form is just not where it should be and the WB proves it to any one that shots one.

I would hate that at the worst time I slip on my form and stick a deer farback.
I uses a dropaway and believe in it and becuase I also know I dont have the greatest form. Ishoot like a champ becuase of the fall away.

I've used the W/B since they first came out. Since the advent of the new B2 Biscuit (brown & black) it's been absolutely the perfect hunting rest.

Why?.......

Because it's bullet proof, accurate, simple, effective, easy to set up, easy to maintain, easy to shoot, doesn't ripple or damage my vanes in any way, fully contains my arrow with no "slop", no need for any mole skin whatsoever, shoots the same in the rain, ice and heat. No cables or strings to stretch or adjust, no springs to weaken or fail. It's one piece of equipment I don't ever worry about and will be on my hunting bows until something better comes around.

I am one that said keep it simple and that the WB offers fewer moving parts. I have "checked" my statement and stand by it. While a fall away is a good rest, it does definitely add increased opportunity for failure of equipment. I have heard guys talk about them coming loose on brush, cords slipping and getting cut by broadheads. That can not happen with a WB. AllI am saying is it eliminates a few worries for me. I really dont see that my compound is "loaded" with moving parts, a cam, a wheel, 2 limbs.I have never had any of those components fail. Some do.I would agree that a fall away may help mask poor form but to me that is a slippery slope. Any rest on the market can and is used to kill deer, it just comes down to personal preference and confidence.

I'm so confused... I love redheads.... ahhhhh... not so with the whisker bisquit. LOL
