Default 2008 PSE Dream Season

I've shot one at my local shop several times and boy is that thing smokin fast. I currently shoot a Diamond and really like the Bowtechs, but there's not a dealer within reasonable driving distance from where I live.

I really like this bow, but I wanted some opinions from owners. Thanks for any help.

Don't own one but have shot it a couple of times. IMO there are a lot better bows out there for less money.

Enlighten me! I have access to Matthews, Hoyt, and PSE at my local dealer. I like the guy and he will work with me. Not sure what the prices are on the PSE's you've looked at, but I can walk out the door with a Dream Season for 650.

650?? The dang things are 800 and up around here. Here are bows that I have shot that I felt were better that are still shooting claimed speeds around 330fps in 30" draw at 70# or a bit slower from my recolection.

Hoyt Katera--This will likely be my next bow--Smooth draw and shooting but slightly heavy
Bowtech Allegiance--Smooth shooting even with speed mods, doesn't draw as smooth as the Katera IMO
Bowtech Guardian--Smoot shooter as well with less hand shock than allegiance but a little slower
Hoyt Vectrix--Similar to the Katera but heavier and a tad slower.
Matthews DXT--great 30" bow and decent speed claims. Shoots pretty good.
Matthews Switchback--older model but liked it better than the DXT, not smoking fast but over 310fps

I liked all of these better than the Dream Season. PSE also charges a hundred more for an 80# bow which is what I want to order.

Thank you very much for your summation. The bowtechs are all but out of the equation, the closest dealer is nearly 35 miles and when I puchased my diamond he was less than a pleasure to work with. I'm a short draw, maybe 27.5-28, so I need something that has some snap. I'm a newbie to the bow "buying" scene, the diamond was a budget bow. I've got into 3-D shooting and I find myself shooting alot. My diamond maxed out at 68 lbs shooting my hunting set-up wtih 75 grn tips is pushing the graph at 269. I'd like to shoot a lighter poundage and be somewhere around 280-290 with a hunting set up. I'm a pretty stout guy and the 68+ drawing doesn't bother me now, but I'd like to continue this for along time.
