I routinely pass on the sub 140" class. Typically a decent buck here is 125-135" I'd say. I did see a shooter, 150"+ category couldn't make a shot, ie he was checking me out I wasn't drawn, so not sure that counts as a pass.

I have to agree with quick here, there is a major difference between a pass and not getting an opportunity to shoot. For me, the biggest buck that i have ever intentially let walk was somewhere around 100". Now if we are talking about the biggest buck that i have ever "passed", well then i let a 140 inch 8 point walk this year in Jersey and a 145-150 inch 9 point walk in Texas 2 years ago.

Oh..and I mean NO disrespect by saying this, but...
Dont EVER tell me or even assumethat I screwed up. Especially if you were not there. ILL let YOU know if I ever happen to screw up. Got it ?
End of story. Rispect given, respect expected, roger ?
If you attempted to find a lane or get a shot - you didn't pass him up. You screwed up.

For what it's worth - I still think you screwed up... But then again, I'm just a dumb civilian.
No respect given. None returned.

Sorry, but not being able to get off an ethical shot doesn't qualify as a "Pass." Hell,I'm sure we've allhad some awfully nice deercruise throughout of range, andcould've easily launched a Hail Mary at them...
But I don't go around pretending that I let them walk by out of my own volitional will.

I passed on a 130" 8 in Illinois two years ago. 6 yards at fulldraw and I let down on him. Looking back, I think that was a mistake.
I passed a 115 last year as well at 15 yards, but I'm happy with my decision on that one.
Seen many others larger but not in range, so I don't count that as passing.
