was out looking for mushrooms(found 165)and jumped a deer that had about 3 inch tall,thick bases.............only 4 months and 4 days till i will be sitting in a stand!! im sure all of you are just itching to get out there because i sure am!

I seen a few doe walk by the power lines the other day into the woods and I'm anxious to try a bow on one for the first time!

I have seen more deer this spring then I have ever remembered. I am excited so see them start sprouting some points!

The same thing happened to me on Friday. .. I thoughtI saw some growth from a150 yards awayand the binocs confirmed it . . . big bases makes me think he might be a certainbig 10 point I saw last year . . . but man, for the life of meIhaven't founda single mushroom yet this year [:@]

My brother (hick442) saw 3 this morning while setting up his dekes in a clearing. The biggest one just had brows and the main beams were starting, andthe other two only had nubs.

I keep seeing one with about a 7 or 8 inch main beam and some little brows starting to stick up

Hmmm. Mushrooms. Last time I went looking for musrooms the farmer shot at us with salt shot!
