Affirmative. I'm honestly that way each time I walk into the woods in the dark. It just.....creeps me out a little. Add a few howling coyotes......oh yeah, I get wigged out.

Well my new spot back by a river gives me creeps a little cuz of the thick pines, i dono why but them scare me cuz then i cant see if theres anything dangerous around like bears, coyotes, wolves. Wat also makes me scared is when im climbing down from hunting in the dark and the wolves start howling close by.

I've hunted the same public land for about sixteen years now and I know the area like the back of my hand , even when it's dark I can find my way around.
What really gives me the ( heebie geebies ) or makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up is some strange animal sound , like a growl , scream or hiss when I'm walking in and out to my stand or back to my truck.

I have only had one of those places but it has since been mined out. It was the place i called blood creek..you guessed it, thats where my user name came from It was an old grown up haul road that made a L through the woods before turning into just woods. It was so grown up it kinda covered over the top of you somewhat, making it DARKER than normal, even in the daylight. It made the hair on my arms stand up when walking in. I was hunting it about the time the blair witch project was playing at theaters [X(]Now i live just down the road from whats supposed to be one of the most haunted cemeterys in Indiana (blackfoot cemetary), I walk past it before entering the woods in the dark, and have not been attacked yet go figure

Never..... Honestly, I have hunted snake infested swamps for ducks, and spent nights in the desert. Especially if I have a firearm, I dont beleive the boogie man will get me. I know I am the smartest thing out there. Not to say the chance doesnt exist but It doesnt bother me.

One time though I was walking through the woods before daylight during deer season, and I dont know if anybodys ever heard a covey of quail take off suddenly (20 yds away) through the brush, it is TERRIFYING until you realize what it is. Sounds like a hundred things running through the woods at one time.
