DTX, General, and switch back???

I'm sure others make good bows as well, just IMO seems like Mathews is the leader and everyone else seems to either mimic or catchup, nowadays there may be more competition than their use to be.
All of my Mathews have been amazing. Tack driving.....light, also lets talk about looking good.....ive seen alot of bows outt here that look like a toy? or just some piece of junk with stuff bolted all over to it. I like the simple clean lines of mathews, its a bow and it looks like one.
If there is a better bow on the market than my mathews Drenalin, better by more than a hair i'd be surprised, or at the time of purchase lets say....and even now.....i like mine, all I can say.

I'm sorry but these threads are downright funny! It's like asking what's better ..... FORD or CHEVY?
I have a Switchback and love it, I also have a DXT that I've put 2,000+ shots through now and love it. Do I think it's the best bow ever? For me, YES! For you? Who knows!
OK, carry on .............

Well I just got back in from shooting my new DXT. I love it so far. It pretty much was a toss up.Each had their good points and what it came down to is ...well....its Mathews, its got a be good right! Not in anyway knocking the others but it just felt right. The shopI bought it from didnt have a Drenalin in. Good or bad I didnt get to shoot one. Which ever I had chosen I think is a big jump from my old bow.

I'll put my Switchbacl XT up against any of them. Very quiet, no hand shock or vibration super accurate and not at all bad to tromp up one mountain and down the other. Of the three animals I have taken with it, not one jumped the string or had any idea what happened.

Congrats, you'll love it bro. I was torn between the General and DXT too, I ended up with the DXT and couldn't be happier but thinking seriously about buying the General too.

Nice bow, but do you really need a stabalizer that big? Kind of defeats the purpose of a light bow doesn't it? I'm just asking, I have a DXT and had a SB XT before that. I know one thing you don't need a wrist sling, the bow just sits there in your hand after the shot. And to tell you truth the DXT shot just as good for me without a stabalizer as it did with one. A mini s coil is all I would put on it.
Enjoy your new bow!
