It's funny that you would ask because everytime that we drive past a cow in the field I always say that I would love to shoot one with my bow just to see what it would do.
It would die, I hope I did not ruin it for you:D
LMAO!!!!!! Good One Germ!!!!!! Im not feeling good today and that made me laugh.THANKS!!!!!

I dont think i would, theres no sporting in it even though they have a sealed fate. Me and my brother both let a nice gobbler walk through our yard last weekend while we were on our porch with shotguns just because it didnt feel right.

I think Oakcreek is right - I bet it wouldn't be as easy as you'd think. Especially after the gig was up.

I think cow hunting is silly. It is just killing to kill.
You are so good at this!! Pick Pick Pick.

If I was going to shoot something just to shoot it, I think the neighbors would be in trouble. Of course, I have more respect for cattle than I do for them.

Seriously, the idea does intrigue me, but I think I would pass. If I were to do something like that, my goats would be in serious trouble. Stinkers have taken to "rock climbing" up the fence.

Well now, a cow hunting thread IS a much better thread than a giraffe hunting thread. I can see why you wanted that other thread to end ;).

RE: Honest Question: Cow hunts.

I think a seperation of "hunting" cows and just shooting cow to kill them is being made here.
It's not a hunt by any stretch. But if the thing is going to die, who cares if its from a 22 between the lookers, or a muzzy thru the lungs. Either way you're eating hamburger. mmmm hamburgers :D

But I think a few other things should be debated first:

Can we use mechnicals?
Do we need a 70# bow?
Can we shoot one if we have a WB on our bow?
Are there any wrong answers to this thread?
