Give some advice to start bow hunting

Do a lot of reading! then read some more. Do a lot of scouting. If possible, hook up with someone with experience and spend time in the woods with them. You will get out of it what you put into it. Most of all, have fun!

Ask a ton of questions here. I did and I've learned a bunch in the past 3 1/2 years. I went from a total rookie to someone that makes up my own arrows, and does most of my own bow work. I still have a lot to learn but I have come a long way. Welcome to the forum. Stick around this bowhunting is fun!

Make sure your equipment is set up correctly. So many guys when they start out are shooting equipment which is handicapping them, not because it's bad equipment, just because it is set up wrong. Like others have said, ask questions here. Everyone is very willing to help out.

Magic hit the nail on the head. I just want to add Hunting can bring out the worst in people I have taken out alot of newbies and got burnt by them. So just be a good hunting partner and things will fall into place.
