As low as 6' to as high as 22ish. Biggest buck of my life I missed from 6' high standing on a big oak branch by hitting a barbed wire 6 inches above the fence. I was standing when I took the shot so that puts me about 10-11feet from where I let my arrow fly. (He was 180" club)

16-20----Around 20+feet and I can make small movements without getting picked off. The longer the season goes, the further I climb due to the deer getting increasingly sensitive and the loss of the foliage.

I LIKE 15-20, BUT LAST SEASON, ONE OF MY STANDS WAS IN THE UPPER 40'S DO TO THE ELEVATION OF THE GROUND..

Cover dictates the height for me, but most of my set-ups end up between 20 - 25 feet. I typically don't set-up below 20 feet.

If I am bowhunting I usually won't get over 20'. If I am gun hunting, I might get as high as 30', depending on terrain, etc...

0 ft. I do all my hunting on the ground, using natural cover for blinds. In the past, I tried tree stands but found them too restrictive - I like to be able to sneak to different locations if the circumstances dictate. I think I get busteda lot more on the ground because of scent, drawing my bow, and so on, but it's a lot of fun.

Canuck, you are getting busted more fro being on the ground, however, if you are ok with that then have fun, at least you acknowledge it.
