What caliber of whitetail do you foresee as a solid possibility in your future?

I have 2 that ive seen on camera but not while hunting yet. I strongly believe I can also get a booner
with my bow from the area I hunt. They both should really jump up in antler size this coming fall.

It goes against everything I've ever seen on game cam or in the woods, here......but I feel like I will take a 120-130" deer from the woods I hunt some day.
The largest I've seen (either game cam or on the hoof won't go 107".......but I honestly believe I'll cross paths with a gross 120-130" deer in these woods one day.

I believeI have good chance at 150" this year and that is on public land. This is based on actual sightings of a couple of big boys the last few years. lots of anticipation this coming season.

I am not much of a scorer but from what I can see, a legit 130 class buck is a potential in my current hunting area. They seem to be few and far between and are hunted hard, but I know they exist because I see their rubs and have found their sheds. This year will be my year.

There have been several 130's - 160's taken off our property and sightings of a non-typical that is in the 180 range. So I'm thinking 150 is realistic.

For 5 of the past 7 years, I took one of the top-end bucks from my hunting area (all 2.5-3.5 yr olds) and they've all taped out at around 100-110". That's not an indictment of genetic inferiority - it's a statement about age structure (lack thereof). All these bucks have major trophy potential, just will never realize it, due to overhunting and poaching.
In probably 5 years of spotlighting/glassingin various areas in SW PA (averaging 3000-5000 deer per year), I've confirmed maybe5-6 bucks that wouldscare 150. Those are prettylong odds. Our Antler Restrictions have resulted in a higher percentage of 2 year olds, but not much beyond that.
Now, however, I'm starting to expand into some new hunting areas outside the friendly confines of the Keystone Statewhere I know there are a few 160+ bucks roaming. On any given morning - it could happen.
So, if nothing changes - and I continue to focus my efforts on Ohio Public land - I have a legitimate shot at a 160. However, if I can position myself into a good job with a flexible vacation schedule - and can afford to start traveling the way I'd like to - the possibilities are limitless.
It's a shame that jobs and money would ever play a factor in this, but it is what it is.

Trail camera's can give you a false reading about what is in the area. Look at the age of the deer you are getting on camera. Last year I had pictures of 1 to 4 year olds but nothing older. I know there is older deer out there. Just look at the age structurre.

I saw 326 deer from stand in 2006.....and 207 deer from stand in 2007. I have thousands of trail cam photos.
What does this tell you?
Edit** I guess I'm just not grasping the "age structure" statement. I also saw "maybe" 2 2.5 yr olds on game cam in 2006.....and 2 from stand that year (4 different deer). I saw "maybe" 1 2.5 yr old on game cam in 2007....and 1 deer over 1.5yrs......the 4.5 yr old I took. I saw one 3.5 yr old on trail cam in 2007.
