IF YOU TAKE THEM DOWN AND LEAVE A NOTE ON HOW TO GET THEM BACK YOU CAN GET THERE INFO IN CASE THEY GET ON YOUR LAND AGAIN.

There is a difference between stealing and taking down someone's stand on YOUR property. I can't believe that people on here would actually steal a stand, though.

Never taken one. Found an older climber on some property I hunt. I was the only one with permission and I knew who put it there. Had caught him tresspassing before.

He left the climber on the tree at the base. I took all of the pins so it woudn't work. Next day it was gone and have never seen him since.

Nope. But if I saw a treestand on my property, I wouldn't hesitate to take it, or at least attempt to catch the person who is tresspassing 1st.

Nope. Never stolen a stand. I've taken stands down that shouldn't be there and left a note, but not taken them. I have friends that have taken them and justified it as some here have saying that it's not stealing since it shouldn't have been there, but to me that's still stealing. I just wouldn't feel right taking the stand.

nope, never stolen one BUT during a hunting season i sat in someone elses treestand. it was on public land and i didn't see his truck there...
