2002 pro 38 IBO Speed

BowTech didn' t make a P38 DC in 2002. My 2001 60#er at 28" shot 309 at the factory. I' m getting 278 at 55#, 29" with a 368 gr arrow. 301 with a 305 gr arrow. I have a loop, kisser, peep, and whiskers on the string.

Bayou.......it may very well be a 2002 bow, but I' m also pretty sure that they were using the 2001 riser. The 2001 Pro38 Dual Cam was a popular bow, and they still offered it thru 2002 if you asked for it. The 2001 riser isn' t as refined as the 2002' s were.....no beveled cutouts and a bit more " Blocky" .
The reason that there was no 2002 Pro38 Dual Cam was that the 2002 tall brace BKII had almost identical specs........no need for the same bow with 2 different names
I owned the 2001 Pro38 Dual Cam, and the ONLY reason I still do not own it is because I' m getting a new Pro40 Dually. I hope its at least as nice to shoot. I simply loved the way that bow shot. Its fast that' s for sure.......they listed 333-339fps IBO, and mine at 30" /70# did 336fps with just a string loop. It shot lights out too even at extreme speeds.....in my hands it is still the most accurate bow I' ve shot.
I bought a set of 60# limbs for it to shoot 3D, and with those limbs maxed at 62# w/ a 375gr arrow it shot 299fps.
She' ll cook for you if you want, but you' ll be even more surprised at how well it shoots.
I have that new bow coming, and I still miss mine.
