Default Draw Length Question

I have a mathews bow that I bought from a friend and the draw length is a little short. I am going to take it to a bow store and have a different cam put on it to lengthen the draw length. I just had a new G5 peep sight put on it and I was wondering if when you change the cam what else do you have to change or does it affect anything on the bow. I was wondering if I am going to have to change the string or anything like that.
Any help appreciated Thanks!

Once you change the cam you will have to start all over again with tuning and sighting in. It's as simple as that. Because of the longer draw the peep height willprobably be a tad higher also so don't rely on any measurement holding up. It's like starting from scratch.
