I shot a doe at the end of December that had a baby in it about that size last year. It kinda shocked me when I was cleaning her cause you never would of expected it that early. The farm I hunt has givin out crop damage permits this year so this is probaly going to be a regular occurance unfortunately. I would rather see them grow up a little but when you think of how hard a farmer has to work to make a living these days its all a big cycle of events. I guess we wouldnt have a problem if deer had more predators around this area to thin out the herds.

Not much... I am not picky when it comes to shooting deer. I just get too darn excited...

No spots. Best thing about Illinois is unlimited doe tags. I can shoot all the fawn does I want. Better tasting, tenderer and I can carry them out. A big difference between dragging 75 lbs and 125 lbs. Its harder for me to pass a fatfawn doe than a 130" buck.
