Ha, great story. Glad to hear your alright, and I too would have been scared sh*tless. Something similar happened to me while coming back from my bowhunting stand. It was dark and I had about a 200 yard walk back to the truck through thewoods. I was walking and i kept hearing sticks break behind me and i started getting really nervous, everytime i would turn around i woudnt hear anything so i kept walking. agian i hear the sticks breaking from a few different directions behind me. While i basically sprinted to my truck, I had a big spotlight with me. The truck was parked in a field with grass about up to your knees. Well, i shined the spot light around in the grass, and I could see a few pairs of coyote eyes hidden in the grass. That was scary, but i cant imagine a cougar
