If you want to play around and deal with camera shake and lots of jumping around I would go for that....
If you want to get serious in actually making a production of your hunts....You'll need a 3CCD cam with wireless mics and a good video editting software....
AND A GOOD CAMERA ARM
BUT...If you want to capture some shots and don'tcare about shake...I'd go for it....

Russell, I'd be concerned about the non ability to zoom etc on that particular camera. I see it to be a stationary zoom.
Also, clipping it to your hat I'd question how often the quarry would be in the picture as you set, anchor draw etc...your head would bounce around and change positions.

Looks pretty cool, but you have to buy a separate video camera. Unless you have one already you're looking at around $800 for that set up. For that kind of money you should look at the POV from Heartland Bowhunters. Everything is self-contained and the controls are on the remote. I hate to sound like a commercial for it, but I've been looking at getting one. Now I just gotta convince the wife.

That is probably my main concern but without trying it I have no idea if I could train myself not to bob the head so much

Of course I could always take The Rev as my cameraman but he tells silly jokes and tries to add music by humming

I do see it has a foot control to start the camera rolling so that might be an option too.
Hmmmmm might have to re-thing this.
