Hi guys, I haven' t postd for while..gettin ready for fishin season. Last season I shot carbon arrows and I was less than pleased with the performance I got, don' t get me wrong I loved the speed I had, but they were just too critical with broadheads. Obviously I want to switch back to an aluminum shaft. I shoot a Mathews MQ1 at 60 pounds and a 29 inch draw length. I would like to shot relatively heavy arrow, 7 or 8 grains per inch. Do you guys have any ideas on a type of shaft and spine. Thanks alot.

If you cut your arrows to 28" , the 2215 will work, but it' s at the top of it' s spine range at that length. You' re gonna play heck getting an aluminum arrow spined for your bow down less than 10 grains per inch.
I' d try the 2215 and 2314, see which one shoots best for you, and then choose based on that. I' d also go with the XX78. The one thing I can say I liked about carbons was the idea of tunable nocks.
