try the Shuttle T broadhead, I use the 125 head and it fly as straight as you can get even in 40mph winds and they are at least twice as thick as a muzzy and you can resharpen them after each kill. very expensive though

CM, I like Muzzy's and that's why I shoot them. At the same time, I don't think they are top tier BH's when it comes to quality and durability. I think that they made a name for themselves because they are good enough but at the same time cheaper than alot of BH's one to one. That's changed with their new mx line and they just got about as expensive as other top tier'ers like the montec but now you only get 3 instead of 6. The quality to me remains the same.

Kyle, the striker is pretty high up on the list. The only drawback for me would be that it has a smaller cutting diameter than my now Muzzy's.

Germ, I've owned the montecs before. Top quality BH's, just a little small for my taste. Besides, I prefer replacing blades over resharpening them. I don't think any sharpening stone can get them as sharp as razor sharp, well razors.

PA, the Slick Trick is in the number one spot as of right now.

rybo, I'm not trying to reinvent the wheel. I just want the roundest wheel for my money. Muzzy comment- refer back to the top of this specific post.

I would also recommend the slick tricks. they fly great, 4 blades and the new ones can be purchased in 1 1/4 . everything you are looking for. Very durable on a pass through
I would say try them out ,for a small investment i think you will be very happy with the results

I will be using muzzies, next year. All BHs make a hole in the deer's chest cavity, it bleeds, it dies. If you really are looking for the most efficent way to kill try a gun[8D] sorry, j/k.

Montec All The Way

I agree with most of what Germ said ,but unless you hit bone there notshapenable,[:@]. I've used the montec for 5 years now and have had no problem with them cept when you buy them ,you should sharpen them. I find their not up to snuff for my liking.
Rocky
I know, I know what Germs going to say, you shouldn't hit bone LMAOThere ,I said it for ya bud[8D]

I would very strongly consider the Magnus line of broadheads. The stinger, buzzcut, snuffer. I used to shoot thunderheads and although a good head, they cant compete with the beautiful flight of a Stinger. I've taken elk and whitetails with them, never a bent blade, they are sharp out of the box, very easily resharpenable, they truely fly perfect, no planing, and the penetration is awesome. The company believes in their products so much that they back each and every broadhead with a lifetime replacement gaurantee, no matter how it was damaged although it takes alot to damage them. Shoot it into a cement block and they will replace it for you if you want. The stinger and buzzcut come in two blade models with the option of two bleeder blades, the snuffer is a 3 blade model.

Well said Craig! Here's a picture of the 3 blade snuffer I use and the website for Magnus Broadheads. The 125 grain I shoot has a 1 1/4 cutting diameter.

Steve, didn't I tell you that thing was ugly?! I like pritty I said, pritty. Nah, jk bud, I really just prefer not to sharpen by hand. I like the path of least resistence at the same time I want it to be the path of most reward. Yeah, I know, welcome to the United States right?

Well, it's really looking like i'ma slap on some slickies for best traction here.
