the only thing I've been saying is....I think it's ludicrous to think that anyone else would have DISsimilar results than you.
I don't think you realize that's a double edged sword you're holding.

The answer to the question albiet a little loaded, is yes no and maybe, all depending.

I share some hunting spots with 3 fellow HNIer's.... We haven't had similar results on these properties....

I think that you being successful early on hunting your area has skewed your perception of what hunting mature animals is really like.....

It isn't usually as easy as just sitting them out... This seems to be your outlook and I couldn't disagree more.Just wait until you are competing with other hunters on overcrowded land.... It really isn't that easy.

Or put him in a place like the Adirondacks where deer densitie are 3 deer per square mile. He would die trying to find a track. LOL

Were it really that easy to slay monster deer year in and year out 95% of this board would move to Illinois and have a TV show.
I, for one, have never implied this. I know better.

BigJ.....I agree with everything you said. But the way I look at it....MANY of the regulars here on HNI are already on "the team"/ in "the league"....and not in jeopardy or even in the same class as the ones who don't make the teams.

THESE are the guys I'm talking about.

I agree with much more of what you guys are saying than you give me credit for. I sort of assumed much of it was implied.
Are teams the same as groupies? LOL[8D] I just love people deciding "On Line"who knows how to hunt and who doesn't. Most of the best hunters probably will never appear on TV, in a magazine or any where. AND.... they're probably not on line. Certainly they don't need to be judged by someone who's hunted for 2 or 3 years. The best hunter I know is my brother. He doesn't even know how to open IE. He and a few of his buddies have whacked 93 coyotes at last count since Jan. He does the same on deer, partridge, turkeys and anything else that's in season. You'll never hear from him. He'll walk up on you in the middle of a an oak head with a foot of leaves on the ground and you'll wonder where he came from. THere are lots more out there just like him. Most don't want to be "On the team" or "In the league".

And when your deer densities are 100 deer per mile it's almost impossible to not be in the right place.
