No way possible any stranger is getting any good info from me!! Before you know it him and 20 others will be in there leeching off of your hard work. Never would I tell anyone the truth I didn't know.

Leave it to Fran to make us fess up on the things we are not proud of! Not to sound arrogant if a local hunter who I know see's myself or my truck in an area I'm up a creek. They will know that there is a darn good reason that I am in a particular area.I wont tell them any thing,the only benefit I will have is they may not know exactly where my stand or stand sites are.If they are not decent and decide to investigate the area they may be able to put the pieces together.
I will never hunt another area that I know someone is in,to me that is a low life thing to do.
A stranger gets a smile and some friendly conversation but nothing that will give any indication or help to them in an area I am hunting.
Along the same lines no one with the exception of two very close friends gets an answer as to where I have taken animals.

88 percent of you say you lie or mislead or bend the truth. My wife was right when she called you the criminals on the internet. LOL God, hunting is suppose to be fun. Tell him yup. You don't have to tell him where or how. You tell him I'm not telling you all my secrets. You didn't lie and you shared some info. If he's cool I'll probably put him in a prefered spot and hope he kills something.

I agree with David, I made a few pretty good friends shaaring info and talking about the evenings hunts in the parking lot! Now we hunt, bowfish, scout and shed hunt together for the past 5 years or so! Why lie.....

No I keep thing qweit even put out false info strategicly like I will tell someone bad info that I knows someone that hunts around me and will tell him that bad info.I fish for a living and have become very skilled in this since my pay check depends on this alot.

Hey man, if you find a hot spot then you have every right to try and keep it to yourself so I say yes, lie about it as much as possible for as long as you possibly can!
