The Charles Manson
I gotta hear about this one...
The man is a old pine hawker with a beard to his knees. He's really a nice guy, but we couldn't resist the name.

I think we should all name our stand sites after B movie actors. I know I'm going too.

You know these guys.. great B movie actors who stood out in some of the best B movies ever made.. and made their mark..

Guys like..

Tom Beringer
Billy Zane
Dolf Lungren
Rutger Hower
Mike Star
Mickey Rourke

I mean how cool would it be to say "Hey check out this 130" buck I killed from the Tom Beringer.. this morning".

This is a BRILLIANT idea....

I'm calling dibs on a Michael Dudikoff stand......hopefully I'll score on a 200 inch"Radioactive Dreams" gagger of a buck out of it this year.

In a now long overgrown rice plantation in south carolina I had a ladder stand that was the "ghost stand" as it would start unexplainably shaking when it was dead calm and the hunter was dead still. I have my theories, but I made up some bogus story about a slave revolt in the early 1700s and how the slave quarters used to be at the head of the road and that the current property owner said the place was full of deer if you could handle the "happenings" around the old levy cutovers.

I always thought it was funny when my friends came back to the truck white as a sheet.... spooked me the first time I hunted it, but I got over it and shot several deer out of that stand in the four years I hunted there during college.
