Rest hitting vanes
#1
I have a Mathews Switchback XT, with a ripcord arrow rest on it. I have shot this thing thousands of times, but in my most recent outing i noticed that my veins were hitting the rest. Does anyone know if there is any way to oil the rest or anything else to make it fall away like it used to?

This is justmy thought and one you won't see often. I assume the cord attaches to the down cable. Could it be that because of string creep the timing has changed on the rest. In other words it's not dropping as soon as it once did. Maybe all you need to do is make a slight adjustment where the string attaches to the cable.

Man watch out if you veins are hitting the rest your gonna start bleeding pretty soon. Now if your VANES are hitting the rest, that is a different story.
