Who's Interested?
First of all - Moderators, please don't move this thread. I want to get this out to the widest possible audience.
Everyone else - I'm thinking of putting together a cookbook on CD with recipes submitted by hunters and fishers. My questionsare -
Who would pay $9.99 plus shipping for a CD full of recipes from other sports persons?
Who would be willing to share their favorite recipes for this CD?
I would be willing to do this project and take care of organizing and producing the CD as I will soon be retired. I figure any proceeds from this CD should go to a charity. Then the only thing to resolve is what charity to give it to.
Costs:
CD - $.50
Cover - $.30
Ink - $.50
Padded Envelope - $1.00
Postage - $2.00
TOTAL - $4.30 (approximately)
That would leave $5.69 per CD left over to go to charity.

Wellllllllll.....I know it would all be good stuff but what I ment was just not the everyday recipes that we all know, but thats what would make it good, you get 5000 and cut it down to the best 500 or 250 something like that..

Well look at it this way, first of all, you could find some recipes on the internet and download for free, but probably not all of them. Secondly, with the proceeds going to charity, you'd be helping out good causes and it's a tax deduction to boot.

Everyone e-mail your favorite recipes to:
[email protected]
If you have taken this recipe from a cookbook, please reference the book.
I will collect, compile, and get them published once we have a good number of recipes running the gambit of categories.
The categories I can think of off the top of my headare:
WILD BEAST (All the meats one hunts for)
DOMESTICATED (Beef, Pork, Poutry, etc)
FISH/SEAFOOD
HOME COOKING (favorite home cooked dishes)
VEGETABLES
DESSERTS
SOUPS/STEWS

Wow, I posted this thread on every one of the forums thinking that the Bow Hunting forum always has the most people on it so it should provide the most productivity, boy was I wrong. I've had more response out of the turkey hunting thread to include recipes coming in already.
I'm not trying to guilt y'all (hehehe), I was just suprised the largest community had the lowest response/productivity.
