with a bow at 20Yards how big are your groups?

Jeff, Im sure that none of us are claiming to shoot 1/2" groups all the time, everytime, its just not possible.
My average size groups from 20 yards are about 1"-2.5" on a good day depending on an endless number of factors.
As for shooting a perfect round, it definatly isn't easy to shoot 60 perfect arrows and I know that I can't do it. Shoot, I'm lucky to get a couple 25 5-X ends on a 5spot face.

Guys.......shoot you a vegas round or a 5 spot round and post up your scores.
If you can shoot 1/2" groups at 20yds you'll shoot perfect scores with perfect x scores and you'd win every archery spot tournament you ever entered.
Food for thought.

But Jeff's got a point... I think we've all had groups where all three of our shafts were touching. Those are probably our "best" groups.
What do my groups USUALLY look like? About two inches between farthest arrows in the group. Maybe an inch to inch anda half a fair amount of time...

I guess I have a mental block! I can group 1"-2.5" time to time at different ranges but something keeps me from the X! When I am grouping I just can't bring myself to holding steady on the 10 ring, think it goes back to the sound of the splitting shaft on my one Robin Hood. But if I pull one bad one I can't regroup and get my head back on the game.I have lots of group holes in target but the bullseye's are great shape!
