Could very well be, Schultzy.....but I'm getting 120 pics (+/-) in one weekend. I'm happy for ya!
Obviously the more pictures and video's it takes the more the battery's will get used up.

Point conceded, Schultzy.....but the Moultrie battery lasted 4 times longer (1 battery life cycle). That's my point.

And....for the price difference....and battery life issue.....I can live with the photos. I can still tell these photos are of the same buck (day and night photos).

I understand you Jeff, your 100% right! What I'm trying to get at is that the better quality pictures your camera takes the more the battery's will get used up. Thats why the cudde's battery's don't usually last as long as the Moultre's battery's. Some have told me that the Moultre's don't do very well in the cold weather at all. The Moultre I'm sure is an excellent camera for what it cost, no dought I'm sure!

What do I know about cold weather? I live in NC!

Coldest I've hunted in is 14 degrees.....but that's RARE.

Also....duly noted on the cold weather......I ONLY have my cams up in the Summer. You're probably right.

Its just what I was told, it don't matter to me what brand name he's got. If a guy likes his camera thats all that matters!

Germ, to answer your question about the Moultrie I40 yes it does take color daylight pics. I just got it this year, and I've been very happy with it.

Greg, if you ever jump back in here, I have a question for you. You have mentioned a number of times that deer, particularly mature bucks, will start skirting you camera within a short period of time regardless of whether it is IR or flash. I am assuming you know they are skirting them because you can see the tracks going around the camera. I would be interested to see what would happen in your area if you simply put a camera out, but left it off. If the deer start skirting it without it off we can rule out both the flash and the IR as what bothers the deer, as well as the noise. If they don't we can assume it is most likely the flash. It may seem to be a foolish experiment, but I know I'd eagerly anticipate the answer. What do you think?

Good question!! I'm buying another cudde no flash for this fall so with the one camera I won't check it for a month or 2 to see what happens.

Ilove Bry's idea.....but how would you know? Would you rely on tracks in the snow? Mud? (differentiating between bucks and does)

It's interesting, though.
