RE: BUSHNELL SPORT OR SCOUT
We tried the old 600 on a hunting trip and it would work one time and not the next ,so I took it back and bought the Nikon 800 .It has worked great so far ,no complaints

But if you lay that camo one down you can't find it.
I tell ya... I had to give up ground hunting in camo as I kept forgetting where I was.

RE: BUSHNELL SPORT OR SCOUT
I also have the "Sport" and really like it so far......Mine acts EXACTLY like Frank's.
It'll range in the dark.(but like he said you need some backlight to see the readout.)
It ranges down to 4 yards sometimes (I know if you can't range 4 yards on your own your in trouble, but it'll do it.)
One thing I did notice is that it is really sensitive......if you have a few twigs in the way between you and the target tree it will range the twigs.
You need a pretty unobstructed view at your target and it works great.
I don't know if that's how others work or not.
So far I've been really happy with it, it's light accurate and does the job for me.
I'm gonna give it a workout this year for 3D and see how it does.(after the shot of course)
