I love it when it is cold calm and clear I is just a great feeling when you are sitting in your stand and you know the conditions are perfect for that big split toe to walk by so you can bust him with a carbon arrow.

I like it to be about 20 degree's with the snow coming down at a good clip, not heavy snow but not light snow either snow, in between there somewhere. Deer tend to move allot more when its snowing fairly good.

Cold (15-25), light snow falling, very little wind, mostly overcast.

The cold makes me more aware, the light snow makes it easier to spot a deer and track 'em, no wind makes it easier to cover your scent and overcast makes it easier on the eyes.

Worst weather: 30-35 with rain/sleet/sh*t and wind.

Took my biggest buck in 22 degrees, light snow, no wind and overcast.
Took my 2nd biggest buck in 30 degrees, light snow on the ground, no wind and overcast following a drenching cold miserable rain for the preceeding 8 hours!
