Terrible idea, IMO. A phone in would lead to people not checking in at all. The whole deer is a pain when you can't quarter it to get it out. All the check in stations are listed in the regs book, so you don't have to know where they are. You also do not have to check them in until the next day, so I don't understand the problem there either.

I honestly feel like Ohio does a pretty good job managing its herd. Especially with the new antlerless bonus tags for archery season. I do not like the extra gun season weekend though, but at least it is post rut.

Now Indiana, that is a state that is all screwed up. Gun season during the rut, followed directly by muzzleloader season. 3 solid weeks of some sort of gun season. Then they complain about the lack of big bucks and license sales going down[:-] Then in the late season, there is just a week where you can't hunt at all. What the heck is that all about?

WV...MORE BOW ONLY COUNTIES OR AT LEAST HAVE REVOLVING SEASONS. I THINK GUN SEASON SHOULDN'T BE DURING THE RUT! I ALSO WOULD LIKE TO SEE BOW SEASON GET SHORTER AS WELL. LOWER HUNTING LICENSES. THEY UPED THE FEE BY x2. including all extra stamps. IT'S HARD TO PRACTICE DOE MANAGEMENT WHEN IT COSTS $20A TAG. I KNOW WV IS DOING MORE THAN JUST ABOUT ANYONE ON CWD, BUT I THINK THEY SHOULD OPEN UP UNLIMITED, YEAR AROUND HUNTING SEASON IN THE ONLY COUNTY THE DISEASE HAS BEEN FOUND IN, FOR THREE YEARS. THE DEER HERD WOULD REBOUND OVER TIME IN THOSE AREAS. MORE DNR, I THINK IT'S ONE PER COUNTY NOW, WITH 1-2 ASSISTANTS. THAT'S JUST TOO LOW. MORE PROTECTED LAND. MORE WMA'S AND THE ANTLER RULES THAT COME WITH THEM. ...JUST MY THOUGHTS.

4pt antler restriction statewide
re-vamp the antlerless tag allocation (alot of areas arent having enough effect yet while some are getting hit too hard)
More enforcement on the laws
Try to open more land for hunters to use
CRACK DOWN ON TRESSPASSERS
Get an accurate harvest data system in place (check stations)

Merge the Fish commision & game commission into one organization. Great idea

Allow sunday hunting Love it

Smaller management units(currently we have 22) Would probably to better with almost double that. Yes

Extend archery season Do it

Increase the severity of poaching crimes, and then actually enforce them. Now you're dreaming;)

WV has some unique challenges imo. I'd like to see:

Max of a 2 buck limit in selected counties. One buck in all others. Perhaps an earn a buck system.

Extend Bow season by starting in Sept and ending in Jan.

Add Sunday Hunting Statewide.

Add an early ML season.

Lower the cost of Resident license and tags.

Point restriction of some sort. To many young deer getting shot in our state. Get rid of the rifles and go to shotgun only for the gun season. Shorten the gun season back to 1 week instead of the 2 week season they now give them.

You better believe it you guys are getting screwed by this man.
As for Wisconsin I would like to see issues based by county not zones as we have so many. Here in my county of Kenosha one deer has tested positive for CWD and that I believe was back in 2003 and now
we are continuing to be lumped in with all CWD units.

I'll never be in favor of a AR in NY. Would much rather see a one buck rule, that way your not pushing your views on another hunter as far what's a worthy buck.

I would love to see a longer late season.

Does? Well I thnk they need to find a way to get a natural balence in the herd,I belive the one buck rule would help. I don't see a problem with mutiple doe permits in my area.
