In Ohio- definately much better for deer and turkey. 15 years ago in high school,while I didn't deer hunt at the time, I was out in the woods a lothunting forrabbit/squirrel and groundhogs and NEVER,I mean NEVER saw any deer, orany deer sign for that matter in my part of the state. Now, they are all over the place it seems. Youcan't go on a walk down theroad without tripping over a roadkill it seems sometimes.Turkeys seem to bedoingvery well too- I regularly seeflocks of 15 - 20 in the fall.

It has gotten alot better in Louisiana than it used to be. 10 years ago i would get so excited to see a track in the woods by my house, since then they have stopped running dogs and killing everything they see in the lease and the deer sightings are way up.
