I am in need of a peep sight that will line up everytime and not compromise the power to much,i looked at Loc-a-peep .

Can you guys recommend any others as i am needing it soon . Thanks .

Never heard of that one. I use the G5. I like them and think the blue color helps.

If you want a peep that will line up every time, you're gonna need a quality string and cable set put on your bow.....And even then it may not always come back aligned perfectly. That's why I use a tube style peep, because I know it will be aligned when I draw on an animal......

This of course is for hunting purposes, if I were to shoot targets I'd probably use a tubeless peep.

Quality Strings are the key and getting it set rightI would never use anything but a Tru-Peep or a G5 Meta Peep.

Yeah Dan but even quality strings/cables can creep, especially with drastic weather changes. That's why I always use a tube on my peep, I know for sure it will be aligned every time.

Don't get me wrong I set the peep to be aligned at full draw, and for the most part the tube does next to nothing. But it's there...just in case.

Like I've said before, for target shooting I'd probably go with a tubeless peep.....targets don't bolt when you have to let down your draw to adjust your peep.[8D]

I just use the generic peeps you can get anywhere that use the tube thats tied to the cables and ive never had a problem getting them to line up

BigJ, I have to agree with Dan,

I haven't used a tube in a long time. Even without a loop I was able to get my peep to come around true everytime. Strings can be trained to turn your peep. I wish I could tinker with your bow, you'd do away with that noisy tube.

Never have had a problem with the true-peep ether...cold or hot weather....

I have no trouble getting my peep to come back aligned, granted I used to fiddle with them much more when the string material quality, or construction (back in the day) wasn't as good as itis today.

I'm pretty sure most here can get their peeps to align, that's not my point. My point is even the BEST made strings/cables, made with the best quality materials can creep and I cited extreme weather changes as an example. I think it was GMMAT who was just posting about his peep not being perfectly aligned. I believe he uses a quality cable and string.

I set up my peeps to be perfectly aligned Iwhen I drawbut I also put on the tubing, this way if for some reason my peep isn't aligned the tubing will pull it into place and I won't miss a shot opportunity.

As far as the whole "noise" thing is concerned.......way over rated. So what if it's a couple decibels louder than without it? It's never....ever caused me to miss a deer and I suspect it never will. I'd gladly give up a couple decibels to know I'll have a clear view when I draw.

All that stealth won't help if you can't see what your aiming at.
