Thanks for the congrats guy's I can tell you it definetly took out a lung he blew bright red blood in quite a few blotches and lots of red mouth foam, as ant hunter know a buck that is down that gets spooked can cover ground fast adn that's what he did, the biggest problem was once off my ground he enters 50-60 acre golden rod field which is nearly impossible to track and see anythign in during late october early nov. I did all I could at the time I assure you, it was only the second deer I ever lost in 18 years of hunting bow and gun, I was bumming hard core but a happy camper now. Congrats to you Duke that buck had quite a spread, mine had awesome mass 5-6" Circum measurements all through, I did what I call a half euro on him yesterday and it looks great just have to bleach it out a bit.

Canuck you don't have to justify anything, you found him, I know it wasn't the best timing, but you still looked well after most would have quit, enjoy the recovery, put them antlers on display and learn from the mistake or whatever happened. Good JOB!!!
