need advice about gray wolf insulated camo...

I have a set with comfortmax lining. If I was to do it over again I would order it unlined as it would be much more versatile.I do a lot of hiking when I hunt and unless it is really cold I over heat.At the very least I would get the pants unlined and suggest you consider full side zips for easy on and off for ventilation and to add or subtract layers.

I guess that I'll chime in with my 2 cents while we're at it. I actually own two sets of clothes from Gray Wolf. One is only lined with Scent-Lok and I use it for early season hunting. Anything from let's say the lower 40s/upper 30s and above. When it's really warm I might wear some Under Armour Heat Gear underneath to help with wicking and when it gets colder my Scent-Lok BaseSlayers w/Climafleece help keep me warm.
My other set is lined with Comfortmax and is plenty warm for late season/cold weather hunts. My setup this year was UA Cold Gear bottoms, Scent-Lok BaseSlayer w/Climafleece bottoms, GWW bibs for my lower half and Scent-Lok BaseSlayer w/Climafleece mock t-neck, Fleece "shirt", Fleece Vest, Gray Wolf Pullover on top. I hunted down into the teens and never got cold.
You'll be amazed how warm the Comfortmax lining is. Most people think it's insulated because it just feels that heavy. I think the Liteloft insulation would be a tad bit overkill unless you're hunting in some pretty extreme temps.
I guess if you're only going to have one set I would go unlined and they layer when it's cold. If you're going to do two sets, the Comfortmax lining is all you need for most cold weather conditions unless you're headed to the arctice circle on a Muskox hunt.
It was somewhere around 16 degrees when this photo was taken.

thanks again.....after reading your replies I'm going to get the just the comfortmax, not the liteloft. For now i'm happy with my other lightweight clothing, so I was looking forinsulated stuff, but wasn't sure if the comfortmax without the liteloft was enough.
My soon-to-be wife would kick my %$$ if she new how much i was dropping on new camo, since we're buying a new house and the wedding ris ight around the corner ! she'll never see this bill....

My line when justifying expensive gear is always, "Honey, take how much whatever costs, and divide that by the amount of times I'm gonna use it." I always work it so its like only a couple of bucks a time. But even better is to not let her see the bill.
