RE: How much do you guys work out a week?
I lift 4 days a week (different muscle group each time) and run 3 days a week. That is now though. I packed on some weight this winter and need to get it off. My wife won't let me get undressed with the lights on anymore[:-]

That's pretty darn impressive for a smoker, Matt. I know what that means; my best two-mile time was 10:17 (YEARS ago ).
chicks dig me. I rarely wear underwear, and when I do, it’s something unusual.

Run/walk three to four times a week-between 11 and 15 miles total per week.
Work out on weights three times a week.
Shoot my bow at least twice a week all year long.
The holidays and having some problems with my left leg have put a crimp in the above, but I'm back on track now.

Running and lifting 4-5 days per week. Usually just a maintanence program during the late winter and start hitting it hard about May to get ready for the upcoming elk season. Use to run marathons to stay in shape but decided I didn't need that much trauma to stay fit! The area we hunt for elk is STEEP!! The trail is at 9000' and we climb up to 11,000-12,000' every day. That'll burn the calories off!

Greg.....that's impressive, too. My best was a 5:17mi.....and that was in college. The ONLY reason I run....
It was simply a result of me playing six hours of competitive tennis a day. Every day. For five years. Yeah, I was just a little in shape back then... Joined the Army National Guard and at the end of MP school, we had to run two miles for time and I blew away the whole company. Surprised me too.

Please explain to me where you got the data, to come up with such a conclusion; that bow hunters stay in slightly better shape? Do you go around feeling hunters? Taking my opinions, which are based on my life experiences out of the equation it would seem that you have it backwards. You see, more gun hunters stay on the ground and move. Most bow hunters sit in trees. How would that equate to the bow hunters being in slightly better shape?
Or were you just trying to stroke some bow hunters?
