That's funny because I received this PM a few days ago my self....

DearBigJ,

I can't believe how super cool you are and I was wondering ifI could follow you around in the gym for a while. We don't have any good ones up here inMich........er Montana...yeah Montana. Anyway I was hoping you could give me some pointers because I really need to build up my biceps, I don't know if you noticed or not from the pictures I posted but they need a little work. My butt looks good though.........don't you think? How do you think I'd look in a pair of leather chaps?

I actually ticked of a great guy due to our political differences ........ he PM'd me telling me to stay out of his threads [&o]

I felt horrible .... I PM'd him back and told him I was sorry (I was) and this was his response ........

Yeah, we're fine man.

I mean, we still live on complete opposite ends of the political spectrum, and we probably couldn't agree on much of anything besides the fact that opening day of deer season is the greatest day of the year, but yeah, we're cool.

I'm just intent on staying away from any threads where I'll get accused of being a PETA member or a crusader against deer hunting. I've been pretty busy lately, so no time to bicker online.
I appreciate a man that doesn't act like a woman when he has gotten ticked off .....

Can you guess who it was?

I cannot beleive some of you have never received a nasty PM. I've received a couple super ones in the past, some were deserved, some were not - and I don't think I'm 1/10th as confrontational (or vocal) as MANY of you are.

I've had a couple PMs in the past where I was "warned" to stay out of a post - or to keep my thoughts to myself - I gotta say it ticked me off - and I went out of my way to stick my nose in their threads.

That said - most PMs - I've received over the years were genuine and appreciated.

I live a boring life.....no PM or nasty notes to me! [&:]

I've sent a few PM's out to different members but mostly it was to help them out or give them some info about something?....there is one member that comes to mind on here that I would love to read all their private PM's because I know they have had to recieve several interesting ones for sure!

I have had a few good ones in the past, none recently that I hold any grudge over. I do remember a certain member of this and another message board that made up rumors that I was crashing everybodies computers and in a PM he threatened to come visit me in PA and "put a whooping on me" I belive he was in his late 30's and I was probablly 17 at the time

Yep (can tell deer season's over).

I gotta admit: I think I've seen or have thought of just about every topic for a post on this forum that I'd ever see... I never saw this one coming!
