Not sure if you saw my photo but I do not tie my peep in like that.... So this was a non issue for my case.

I bought this peep just before bow season opened, I was using a 3/16's in this bow and decided to go larger.

I've been shooting with a Meta peepat 7 gpp on a Bear TRX 36 at 65 lbsfor over a year and haven't experienced any egging.

It's not easy to see and you've already admitted your site isn't what it used to be.:D

I change them when I change strings. My last wasn't round anymore, hard to tell.I don't serve mine in likeothers. There's a grove around the peep to serve it in.
