Location--Location--Location

Of course location is important. It's true that you have to hunt where they live in order to shoot one, but the point is, record book bucks live almost everywhere.
Yes, they even live in North Carolina.

Note that these are bow hunting records, there may be some gun kills that are even bigger.
It gets tiresome to hear some newbie continuously whine and cry about not having any big bucks where they live. Granted, they may not be at the same level as the bucks from the midwest, but they approach and even make B&C. (google record book bucks of NC).
Fact: P&Y bucks do live in NC.
Don't tell us you can't kill what isn't there.....THEY ARE THERE!!! GO FIND THEM!!!
GMMAT,
The reason I don't go back and read ANY of what you tell me to is because I already know what I'm talking about when it comes to hunting deer. I have self confidence.
You on the other hand start spouting off other peoples names and rattling off their quotes because.............. you're a newbie and have no self confidence, experience with big bucks (over 107 inches) and you'd rather argue than learn.
Again, please stop with the nonsense and crying............ it's pathetic.

Nobody's crying, whining or acting like a CHILD, but you.
You know, though.....you keep talking about how much I "don't" know and haven't experienced in my 2 years. I've never made this about me and you. You're CONSTANTLY bringing up my ineptness or my inexperience, though. Sol...tell me, LEGEND....how does my 14 whitetails, including 5 bucks (two of which will make my state's Bowhunter's Assoc. book) and 1 bow turkey compare with your first two years? Im not tooting my own horn....just trying to see what I should be striving for.

Let that 100 incher walk and he just might come back next season a 120. Until your disiplened enough to let nice deer walk your never going to truly know what your area could yield. Sure location matters, get your damn topo out and find a new one.
[/blockquote]
I agree 1000% I probably will never see the potential of my area simply because as of right now, anything 120+ gets an arrow. Thats my standard, but you wont hear me on here whining how there are none bigger.
GMMAT's deer (the bull) was 4.5 and scored 103-1/8. So your saying that a 4.5 yo in a PRIME location will only be in the 100's? Let the Bull walk 5.5.....6.5.... I bet he would make 120ish at best and thats alot of "IF's" But you take a 4.5 yo in PRIME location and he's gonna make a 100" buck look like a spike...

Greg:
Why do you HAVE to make this personal? I don't understand. You make me laugh, though.
With some of the trail cam photos I've seen from where you hunt......You sorta remind me of a penthouse pet bragging about getting laid at a frat house.

I believe you once mentioned that you know more in 2 years of hunting then most in 20 years last year?
