Rob, what is the significance of the sight being so far from your riser???
Same question: It's appearance is ugly...why so far off risor????

An extended sight gives you a longer sighting plane and will also gap your pins a little more on a fast bow

Ugly, I think it's spectacular! If you understood, you'd try it.

IT's about accuracy. The farther you get a sight pin from your riser, the more accurate you can be. Think about a open sight rifle vs an open sight handgun. Think about the most accurate sight you can have, that would be one that puts your pin right on your target, like a laser. This is why MOST target sights are pushed out away from the riser. The farther it is from the eye, the more accurate you can place and hold it.

Like MeanV2 says too, you can gap your pins farther which makes for a more accurate hold in mid rangers.

It's all about accuracy and it's a beautiful thing, quite the opposite of ugly pal.

Found my review too. http://www.huntingnet.com/forum/tm.aspx?m=1577393&mpage=1

And here, this is for diehardhunter...Dead Nuts huh? [8D] right,

40 yard group that day.

Thanks Rob, MeanV2, that makes total sense! I might give something like your sight a try for this year!

Jeesh guy, settle down. Just because I said it was ugly doesn't mean I can't appreciate the mechanics and theory behind it. Thank you for the explaination.
