Agreed, with that kind of money to spend you'd be doing yourself a disservice not to broaden your choices,but I'll answer your question anyway. I've never shot The Truth, but shot the '08 Katera and Vetrix, definately like the Katera better.

I would recommend keeping your bow & buying top of the line (leica Swarovski or Zeiss)binos. Youcanuse great binos for the rest of your life.

Go to a full-service bow shop and shoot a few different models of each of your favorite brands. Buy the one that you shoot the best.

With that budget I would not purchase either one, that is until you have shot every bow you can get your hands on.

I like the Katera, but it depends on what skill level shooter you ar as to how it's going to shoot with that Brace Height. Why are you limiting yourself to split limbs? If you want a quick bow to use outwest, check out the new Bowtech Airborne 82nd, or the new Elite GTO (my favorite speed bow), and there is many more.

As far as a sight goes, you can't beat a Spott Hogg.

For a rest, I like the Limbdriver.

Stabilizer= Fuse Axium 10"

Arrows= Gold Tip Pro-Hunters or CX 3d selects, or CX Maximas

Sounds like a good idea to me. My good friend has a pair of Leica binos and they are unbeliveable. We hunt yotes at night,we use them with no spotlight to just look around and you can see pretty good. In the day light the are great I can not describe how good they really are. If you think you have good binos try them side by side. I only wish I had a pair and my friend has two 10X50 and compact 8X42.They are the real deal.
