Default 82nd or 101st bowtech?

hello, i am about to purchase a newbowtech. i currently shoot a 4 year old pse typhoon. i wanted to know if anyone has shot the 101st and82nd? i havent shot the 82nd yet, waiting for my local shop to get it in. i am worried about the brace height on the 82nd...dont want to get my arm smacked and dont want to worry about it hittingmy hunting coat. so my question is for those who have shotboth, which one they liked the best? do you think the 6" brace on the 82nd will cause those problems i stated above? thanks!

personally,
i prefer a bow with at least a 7" brace height because they are more forgiving but still have alot of speed. That being said, I shot the 82nd last week and it was a heck of a nice shooting bow. If you have great form, etc. then the 82nd may be for you.

Something else to think of, with the built in STS system you shouldnt have it hitting your arm or jacket with either bow I wouldnt think.

Dont be afraid to shoot a guardian either. They are awesome bows too.

I shot them both......and ordered the 82nd. First shot through the chrono was 337.4 (362gr arrow through a WB)with my target arrow. I suppose I'm a bit of a speed freak....but I don't feel like I'm giing up anything (currently shooting an '07 Allegiance).....and I'm picking up the obvious.

Plus....I wanted a target bow. I'm going to shoot mine at 62-63#'s.....and I'll be surprised at 28.5" draw if the thing isn't slinging them upwards of 330fps (327gr arrow).

Looking forward to setting it up and getting on the range with it.

I wrestled with this same decision. I ordered a 101 because it still has the 7" brace height and it will be faster than my Allegiance. I doubt hitting your arm or sleeve with the 82 will be a problem because of the built in short stop string suppressor.
Like I said I ordered a 101, but I may have an 82 on order soon as well
