Default Gift Cards in Hand, What to buy?

Hey everyone. I've done my homework as far as bows go and I'm ready to pull the trigger ona bow and some accessories. The only thing I have to consider is brand. I have $400 for Fin Feather and Fur Outfittershere in Ohio and I believe all they carry are Matthews, Hoyt, and Bowtech. Not a good sign when I'm on a budget but I'll see what I can do. I would not mind walking out with a Tomkat but I need some info on what Hoyt is offering. They do no let you shoot at the store so I"m somewhat limited in that respect. I'd like to stay around $500 for bow and a couple accessories if possible. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I don't think Hoyt is doing a package bow this year. I could be wrong, but I remember talk about this at the pro shop.

Tomkat is a good deal and a good bow in a package priced right.

Most bow shops will put together their own "package deal" for you. We certainly do. For the money you are looking to spend, it's gonna have to be a used bow, if it's one of those 3. Now is the time of year to do that, since the '08s are out, folks are trading in theirs "old" bows for new. You can get some pretty sweet deals on a bow that is maybe 2 or 3 years old.

That is a shame they do not let you shoot the bows before buying them. Good luck finding something.

You might also want to look at a Diamond Rock (replaces the Rapture for 2008). I shot it a few weeks ago and really liked it.

I bought my Fred Bear bow fron the Fin. They let me shoot any bow I wanted to. They have a small shooting lane over by the broadhead section. Good guys over there. They really know their stuff!!
