Left Right
G1 2.5 2.5
G2 9 9
G3 8 8
G4 5 4
G5 2 -
xtra1 - 3
xtra2 - 4
Beam 20 20
M1 4 4
M2 5 5
M3 5 5
M4 4.5 4
Totals 65 68.5
Width 18
Totals 65+68.5+18 = 151.5
Numbers are probably a bit on the low side, tough to judge without the deer head below them

This is wrong for P&Y/B&C scoring. For typical deer you do NOT add the abnormal points to the gross score.
Sometimes people confuse odd points with abnormal points. Odd points occur on 7, 9 11 and 13 pointers etc. These points are added to the gross score and then are subtracted out for the net score. Abnormal points are sticker points, drop tines, forks etc. These points are not added to the gross but are subtracted from the gross to obtain the net.
Example: you have a great 12 pointer, a 10 point with matching 4" forked g-2s. To arrive at the net score you subtract all the side to side differences and then subtract 8" for the matching forks.
My point is.... why subtract the forks?, they had nothing to do with the eveness of the other tines.

You guys are making it too complicated. Gross is total inches (yes abnormal points included)with no deductions.
My guess is 154"

As far as the saying gross score goes, the P&Y or B&C score sheets only have totals, there is no gross score.
Gross score is Hunter slang for total score of the deer or animal befor deductions with abnormal points added, just to give others an idea how big, or how much horn or antler the animal had on it's head, or at least thats the way it was when I was scoring.
But hay, I could be wrong, I have not scored them for a long time!
