Nice whitetail...I really like the mass that guy has throughout, from base to tip on the mainbeams. What did he score? How old do you think he was? Did you get a field dressed weight on him?

jerseyjoe - I would be willing to bet the WT is on a McKenzie 8800 series Semi-upright Wall Pedestal Form sculpted by Dennis Behn.
From the chin position relative to the back, it has to be semi-upright.
Shoot often - Hunt always

Nice mounts IBM...
<img src=icon_smile_approve.gif border=0 align=middle>. Did you have to wait 13
months for your whitetail or did you just wait until
your mule buck was done too? Seems like a long time
to take, but your taxidermist did do a great job.

Wolfen, we rough scored him in the low 140's with a net around 130. We weighed him after we field dressed him right around 175-180. His age we aren't exactly sure on. Some deer in our area have made it that big in 3 1/2 years, but usually don't have the mass as him. So we really think he was 4 1/2. Not totally sure though.
Twobeards, you heard me right.....13 months to get the white tail back. I was a bit disappointed in the time it took, but I atleast knew they would be good. I actually had a different muley over there that I took at the same time. But when I shot this one in 2002, I called him to see if I could swap out the antlers beings he didn't have them done yet. What disappointed me the most in time was the fact that he said they would be done by the end of summer, then it was October and then finally got them in January. If he would have told me 13 months when I had taken it over, that would be a different story. I could have lived with that.
