RE: Peeing contest about ethics.
Is everyone on pms? Did the Man dillute everyone's medication? Oh, thats right, its no longer deer season[8D]
Seriously tho--ethics are personal. Standards can be decided on throughout a culture, but there are still, and should be,always small differences on an individual level. This makes the debate irrelevent as everyone can be right on this 'small' topic.
And anyone who doesnt agree with me on this topicis unethical. No debate, its just the truth and you will have to accept it.

I target ANY female deer.....for the sake of herd mgmt. Period.
I target specific criteria in bucks....because I want to.
I eat or donate every animal I kill. So there are no ethical conundrums in what I do.

I don't donate any meat though. There's always someone in the family who wants a steak or two.

You know, before I joined a couple of hunting websites in 02/03, I never heard anyone mention the word ethics in regards to hunting. If you hunted by the rules, you were a hunter. If you didn't, you were a poacher. Now it seems that everything is up for debate. I say do what you enjoy and forget what others think.[&:]
