Default Peeing contest about ethics.

Yep, its a popcorn post. Im feeling froggy this morning. Ive been seeing post after post about how unethical it is to shoot a young deer because HE could grow a bigger rack later. Does are not treated the same way. Ive seen some take pot shots at someone for shooting doe, or for shooting smaller bucks. So, is it more ethical to hunt an animal for the purpose of putting HIM on the wall, or to hunt an animal for the purpose of utilizing the animal as sustenance ?

Let the games begin

I don't know if its so much ethics, I find it to be more about egos.

I target ANY female deer.....for the sake of herd mgmt. Period.

I target specific criteria in bucks....because I want to.

I eat or donate every animal I kill. So there are no ethical conundrums in what I do.
