This off season I really want to focus on targeting only mature bucks for next year. I still consider myself a novice hunter, and my main strategy has only been hunting funnels where deer seem to move quitea bit.

This has helped me to see a decent amount of does and 1.5 yr old bucks, but I have only seentwo mature bucks in the past four years, one of which is on my wall.

Any how, what book would you guys recommend reading that could teach me some of the finer points of hunting mature bucks?

First....and foremost.....Mapping Trophy Bucks by Brad Herndon. An absolute must read.

Hunting Trophy Whitetails in the Real World, Don Higgins. This is how it's done right here.

The bowhunting pressured bucks series is very good as well.
