I don't use a ground blind. I just clear some leaves away from where I'm going to stand/sit and I'm ready to go.

Try a piece of Carpet Pad. It should do everything carpet does at a lighter weight

Good Lord Jeff, I forgot about that...I get a little sidetracked in hunting season.. I did, and I promise take some photos...need to take a few more.. let me see here if I have one...handy, its midnight and I should be in bed..I'll see what I can find.
