i hope he gets what he deserves, my only advice is to get the land owner to back you up. I have problems every year with people tresspassing and so far everyone of them act like i`m the lawbreaker or i`m causing the problem. It is sad that there will always be those few that make all of us look bad. as far as you having your stand stolen talk to your game warden because i had one stolen 2 years ago and ayear later i run intoour warden and he told me that i should`ve called because he has a list of thiefs and95% of the time the stand will be in plain sight when they get there. Just a suggestion. But i hope everything works out for you.

same here...and I don't even own or hunt that kind of timber!
Around here I am lucky to hunt the few "small" spots I got permission to.
If I had sole rights to timber you can bet your sweet arse it would be patroled....even if I was gone!

Good luck GMMAT with your situation, keep us posted!

Good luck with the warden thing. I hope the ones in your area are better than mine. I've been after "the slob" of my area for 10 years with ZERO progress and next to no cooperation from our DEC. I've got some stories about the yahoo in my area over the years that would make you puke.

Our family owns 260 acres, their are some deer on it but not too many. I couldn't even imagine what I would do if I was out there hunting and some idiot would come up and tell me that I was tresspassing on my own land.

This thread is making me sick to my stomach.

Have you thought about taking pictures or video of these scumbags in the act of trespassing? I would carry a camera with me every time I went into that woods just to try to get evidence that would hold up in court.

And I'd even carry a small voice recorder to tape the conversations when you confront them.
