you don't,this is probably the worst shot that you could possibly take on an animal.1)they are so close that the slightest sound will result in the deer bolting.2)When the arrow is released, there will be some noise(even from the quietest bow)and the deer will duck and there is no telling where the arrow will hit.3)at that angle the vitals become quite small, making it next to impossible to get a double lung shot and it is even possible to completely miss the lungs all together.4)the deer came in and has to leave, there will almost always be a better shot within a few minutes. The deer will then be looking away and will most likely quarter away at some point, presenting the perfect shot.
This is the 1 shot I can't understand why you would take.It can be made but the odds are stacked against it.I would much rather have a 30,or even 40 yard shot as opposed to this one.

The shot is straight down, gravity is pulling the arrow straight down, so use your highest sight pin, in this case 10 yards. A straight down shot is not a very good shot to take as you have to work around the spine and the vital area is very small with you only being able to get 1 lung. I would probably not take this shot even if I had a very high energy setup. I would recomend practicing this shot before you thought about trying it.

Why take the shot at all? If you have a deer directly under you and you want to take that shot , that tells me you dont have the most important ingredient needed to be a bowhunter. PATIENCE!
Wait until the deer walks out from under you and presents a shot!

TFOX said it all, you do not take the shot, the deer got under you and he will leave, which the odds are high you will be presented with at least a quartering away shot. There are enough things to go wrong bowhunting without taking a bad shot that may just wound a deer.

I had a shot like that post rut this year...a really nice buck that walked right to my steps. I wouldn't take that shot either. You can get him quartering away or get him another day (hey it rhimes)
I had a doe tag anyway so I shot him with an acorn I picked off my tree. Was funny when he tried to figure out where I was.
