I was typing fast while ago and kind of left some things out. During the rut, there is no better big buck bait than does. He probably won't come to your feeder, but if the does are, and you leave them alone, he will come to check on them. It might be 100 yards downwind on a different corridor, but you can handle that. If you can, go to the other end of the property fromyour BIL. You may pull something (a buck) he doesn't know about.Give the buck(s) lots of little pockets to check for does by creating nice places for them. Try and managethe bucksdaylight time on your part of the property, figure out ways to do it. There are lots of little tricks you can use, though it may take a couple of years for them to start paying off.
